Studio BioFoam 2.0 and 4.0
Studio BioFoam® is a closed cell foam formulated to be hand sculpted or machine shaped for a wide range of industrial design applications. It can be painted and surfaced using all commonly used materials and techniques. Studio BioFoam® is ideally suited for theatrical stage sets, trade show exhibits, museum displays, retail environments, 3D signage, dimensional millwork, composite tooling, and fine arts applications.
Studio BioFoam® is available in 2 and 4lb/ft3 densities. Studio BioFoam® 2.0 is produced in 4’x 8’ sheets in thicknesses ranging from ½” to 18”. Studio BioFoam® 4.0 is available in thicknesses up to 24”. Please contact us directly for quotes on custom orders.
From an environmental perspective Studio BioFoam® clearly outperforms the competition. It is a zero emission material free of toluene, pentane, HCFC’s or styrene’s commonly found in other rigid foams. Our product has 18% bio-based content and uses water as its blowing agent. Studio BioFoam® generates no harmful air emissions during fabrication or use. It can be easily recycled once it has reached the end of its useful life.
